This article is about legitimate ways to lower your cravings for alcohol. Alcohol is a depressant drug which suppresses excitatory neurons and increases the activity of inhibitory neurons within your brain. The suppression of these excitatory neurons is what results in slowed reflexes, sluggish, drunken body movements, slurred speech, and ineffective cognitive thinking.
We have all heard the little feel-good advertisements about eating a balanced diet. In fact, we all tend to tune out these phrases about wellbeing. Those are vague expressions and they mean nothing to us. However, cells are a lot like houses. In order to build a house, you need both labor and material, and the house will not get built if either side is missing. Nutrition provides the material for building cells and you can even get away with smoking, drinking, caffeinating and eating junk food, as long as your cells are still getting proper nutrition in addition to these bad habits. You do not need to slow down your alcohol consumption in order to start feeding your cells properly. Once they are full of good, nutritional content, they are far less likely to tolerate substitutes like alcohol, and your cravings will naturally diminish, even if your drinking does not.
Sunshine activates chemical processes within your cells which break down toxins and releases endorphins and serotonin and dopamine hormones. By the way, sunshine is also a crucial part of cellular reproduction, so try to get a little sunshine on a regular basis. It prevents cancer. The endorphin release and serotonin and dopamine production reduce the need for alcohol, and the strengthening of your cells decreases their tolerance to alcohol. Again, your cravings will diminish, even if your alcohol consumption does not.
Have you ever over-thought something to the point where you lose all perspective? This is what alcohol and other drugs are really good at doing. The only way to regain proper and realistic perspective on your life and how it is seen by you is to interact with other people on a regular basis. No, this does not mean that you should participate in drinking games with your other alcoholic buddies. It means that you would greatly benefit from simply talking to several people every day, doing outdoor activities with your family, and finding something to laugh about on a regular basis.
Of course, drug and alcohol testing in the workplace can help you show accountability so that you do not lose your job. Contact CMM Technology today: +618-9204-2500.
